Participants are assessed in the subject areas on a mixture of written assignments and final examinations.
Yes, the content of the programme is suitable for various fields. We have many students from different backgrounds, like engineering, pharmaceuticals, design, construction, IT and many others, who completed the course successfully.
Candidates undertaking the course have an option to apply for IPMA Level B or Level A certification at a reduced rate of 40% of the standard fee, subject to them meeting the IPMA® experience requirements.
Live virtual classes run one evening per week, from 6:30pm to 9:30pm. Plan to spend approximately 4 to 6 hours each week on the core material and reflecting on what you have learned. However, as you can appreciate, this is very dependent on each individual’s capability.
If the candidate has relevant professional work experience but no primary degree, the candidate may be invited to interview (personal or telephone as appropriate) with the Course Director to assess the candidate’s suitability to attend the course.
Eligibility for those wishing to pursue IPMA Level B or Level A certification at a discounted rate will be assessed separately.
The Institute offers online course attendance for all participants. Albeit, participants in locations such as Dublin, Dundalk, Cork, Galway and Limerick can also attend our classes in physical classrooms. Please note these may have been affected by Covid-19. A recording of each online lecture will be available for playback in the Student Hub for a limited period of time, so you do not need to worry about missing a class.
