Seamus Woods – My Motivation to Become Certified IPMA Level A

Following a Government decision in 2011 to further reforms within the provision of Children and Family Services in Ireland, an ambitious and demanding Reform Programme (“For Irelands Children”) has been set up to focus on accountability, consistency and transparency throughout the system.  As part of the Reform Programme, a new Children and Family Support Agency will be established early in 2013.  Programme and Portfolio Management are key leadership and management tools to deliver on the Government objectives, including detailed planning at the individual project level. 

My achievement in achieving IPMA Level A has allowed me to take my management skills one step further and helped me grow on a personal level.  I would recommend IPMA Certification in project Management to anyone who wants to deepen their skill levels and take a step further in their personal and professional development.
