Adopt a Stakeholder Mindset

Stakeholder management is one of the necessary soft skills a project manager or business leader needs. Keeping your stakeholders engaged, satisfied, or motivated is a minimum for maintaining good stakeholder relationships.

In this course, you will learn how to drive results and achieve benefits through clear, open, and honest communication. Gain the skills to detect and resolve inherent conflicts of interest between different stakeholder groups.

Managing stakeholders requires a different range of skills than those needed for managing team members. For effective stakeholder management, you need to possess the ability to choose the right communication style and techniques, depending on different situations and stakeholders.

Enrol in this stakeholder management course and improve your influencing skills and develop the high-level competence required to manage diversity, generate buy-in and effective collaboration from key stakeholders, and remove obstacles to project progress and success.

What will I learn?

The stakeholder management course adopts a practical hands-on approach to help you explore the process of identifying stakeholders, analysing their diverse roles and investments in the project, managing stakeholders, dealing with problem stakeholders, and listening to stakeholder concerns.

At the end of the course, you will know how to make an efficient stakeholder management plan and be able to get the right people involved at the right time in your project, maintain stakeholder engagement and manage conflict.

Why do this course?

Engaging your stakeholders early and often ensures project success. On the other hand, projects with ineffective stakeholder management frequently experience delays and cost overruns or even may never be finished. That is why understanding their underlying motivation, communication style and availability can be beneficial to ensure a smooth sailing project progression that meets the stakeholders’ expectations.

With a good deal of things to be cognizant of, managing stakeholders can seem difficult. Our goal is to equip you with the knowledge and skills you need to identify your stakeholder’s unique set of needs, build trust, and develop an effective stakeholder management plan.
