What is included in the course fee?

The course fees include the access to all course materials on the Student Hub, live expert-led virtual classes, recordings and unlimited support from our Student Support team. 

What are the delivery formats available for this course?
  • Online. Classes run online over two consecutive days from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. Do not worry about missing an online class – a recording of each online class will be available for playback in the Student Hub for a limited period of time. 
  • On-demand. Fit your learning into your own schedule and learn at your own pace with this flexible online format.  
  • Classroom. Choose classes on campus for in-person learning with industry-expert lecturers. Classes run at the National College of Ireland (Dublin). Please note the scheduling of classroom courses may have been affected by Covid-19. 


Am I eligible for this course?

There are no prerequisites to participate in this course. However, a fundamental knowledge of project management methodologies could be helpful. 

Is the course suitable for candidates without former PM knowledge?

This course is suitable for professionals with experience on a managerial role, emerging leaders and anyone who wishes to acquire or refine their leadership and negotiation skills regardless of their job title. Prior knowledge of project management approaches is not required.  

How long is the course?

The course runs for 2 days, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. 

Is the course applicable to any industry?

Yes, the content of this course is suitable for various industry sectors. We have students from different backgrounds – such as engineering, pharmaceuticals, design, construction, IT and many others – who completed the course successfully. 

Will recordings be available if I miss a class?

A recording of each online class will be available for playback in the Student Hub for a limited period of time, so you do not need to worry about missing a class.

This course curriculum is designed by industry-experts to help you develop practical leadership and negotiation competences that are so valuable to hiring managers. At the end of this training, you will have the tools to develop your leadership competence, and negotiate agreements with vendors, stakeholders, customers, and cross-functional representatives.

Successful completion of this course results in a Certification of Completion and 14 Professional Development Units (PDUs).

We offer the Project Leadership and Management Diploma part-time course. This part-time professional diploma on Leadership and Management offers a university-backed curriculum taught by 10 industry experts and three credentials to help you develop the ability to make effective decisions while engaging and empowering teams in different organisational cultures.
