Institute Faculty Member Frank Nugent Launches New Book

The Institute faculty member Frank Nugent's new book, "Seek the Frozen Lands", published by the Collins Press in Cork, will be formally launched inmid-October. The book tells the remarkable stories of the many Irish mariners whose names dot the charts of the Arctic and Antarctic regions in testament to their courageous explorations in these forbidding regions of the world.
Frank (pictured on the summit of Dictuil, Lemon Mountains, East Greenland), practises and advocates project management techniques in all his endeavours, and is currently working on an innovative paper with Director General Ed Naughton titled "Project Management - An Expeditioner's Perspective".
