We receive many calls from individuals regarding the different certification accreditations that are available in the market place. The above table provides an illustration based on published data from:

• a paper "Innovation & Project Management" presented at the IPMA 22nd World Congress in Rome. This scoring system was used to measure project management ‘intensity’ in different countries
• amapping exercise (2010) conducted by IPMA & APM Group.

PMI – USA also has two other certification levels

• CAPM®  Certified Associate in Project Management
• PgPM®  Programme Management Professional

However, as circa 96% of the credential holders are in the PMP® category and no published comparative data was available for the other credentials, they are not included.
