An IPMA team of international experts will be in Dublin on September 1. We have invited them to share their views with you on what is available and explore with them what is happening in the whole area of international certification of project managers.

Bill Duncan (USA) Chair, ASAPM
William was the primary author of the original (1996) PMBOK - A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge. With over 4,000,000 copies distributed worldwide, this seminal work is the most widely used project management guide in the world today.
In addition, his “process model” of project management was used to organize ISO 10006, Guidelines for quality in project management.
He currently chairs the Board of PMCert, the certification body of the American Society for Advancement of Project Management (asapm). In addition, he is the former Director of Standards for both asapm and the Project Management Institute, Inc. (USA).

A Registered Project Professional and certified IPMA Projects Director, Joseph is also a Fellow of the Association for Project Management and is former Deputy Chairman of the Association.
He is a leader in the development of Programme and Project Management Professionalism within organisations. He is responsible for the skills development and delivery of project management professional standards across disciplines stimulating Government Departments and Industry through his engagement.
His membership of various boards and committees including; BSI, ISO and the IPMA enables him to maintain a drive on the professions outlook and strategic momentum. David Hudson (Australia) Director, AIPM
David is a Director of the Australian Institute of Project Management, is Chair of the AIPM Standards Committee and is also the AIPM project manager for the 25th IPMA World Congress in Brisbane in October 2011.
He has more than thirty years experience in training and assessment and is a specialist in the integration of corporate project standards and individual competencies.
He is also renowned for his pioneering work in the integration of competency solutions in wide HR practices such as recruitment and performance management.
