Survey shows Irish Project Managers optimistic

Back for the eleventh year, the 2015 Institute of Project Management Practitioner Survey Results once again provides an independent view into the lives and careers of project management practitioners in Ireland.

After 11 years of producing this research from our Diploma students and seeing the changes that have happened in the discipline, it is hard not to be drawn to the fact that project management is still an exciting and evolving practice.

Projects begin and end with people, and competent execution is at the heart of every successful project. In general the survey findings suggest that the people/practitioners are in up-beat mood.

The results indicate that while the people are  actually working well in excess of their formally required hours, over 70% of them see their potential job opportunities/promotion prospects improving.
