Those products and services primarily include PM software and related services, PM consulting services, PM training and educational products and services, and turnkey project and construction management services. Project Management and the Celtic Tiger
This paper explores the hypothesis that, in contrast to accepted wisdom, micro practices of work and management, and project management practices specifically, are a (overlooked) reason for the transformation of the Irish economy since 1990, a phenomenon known as the Celtic Tiger. The paper computes the weighted number of IPMA and PMI certificates per million population as an indicator of the intensity of project management in selected countries and compares this data with each country's wealth (measured as GDP/capita), and innovation ranking.
