The Institute, headquartered in Dublin, is the Irish Certification Body for the administration of IPMA's 4 level certification system. Some 2,500 IPMA Certified Professionals are currently registered across our centers in Cork, Dublin,Galway, Limerick and Waterford.

INTERNATIONAL RELATIONSHIPS
 The Institute is recognised Internationally as the leading Irish organisation for the promotion of project management.
Within the IPMA family of 50 countries, the Institute is the National Association for Ireland and the director general is a former member of the IPMA executive board.
PMI and the IPMA have a memorandum of understanding to collaborate on promoting the profession of project management globally. In pursuing their mutual objectives, the two organizations will seek opportunities to increase the supply of qualified, educated professionals to fill expected vacancies in the profession.
The Institute's Director General was the first PMP® to be registered in Ireland.
